Introducing Charlie

We're thrilled to introduce Carlos (Charlie) Fontana, our latest Gimly member. Charlie is a senior-level full-stack software engineer with ten years of experience in dynamic web development and mobile applications with expertise in React Native development. He joined Gimly in our mission to reimagine the future of the internet and industry, enabling privacy-preserving and consumer-centric value creation through real-world implementations of self-sovereign identity (SSI).

Charlie is rapidly becoming an SSI expert and is leading the development of our Gimly ID solution with SSI over NFC capabilities (read more). Since joining Gimly in March, he successfully delivered our open-source SSI-NFC bridge in the NGI Essif-lab program, and is currently implementing NFC functionalities in our Gimly ID mobile app.

With Charlie's rich technical background and experience with the dynamic settings of a start-up, we look forward to a bright future together. Welcome Charlie!
